What are the top bathroom trends for SS19?

So many! Concrete or sculptural applications in sinks, basins and countertops, floors and walls. Brutalist materials mixed with organic colours and elements. Also can't forget the universal classics - subway tiles, vertical or horizontal, paired back minimal spaces and marble accents. In regards to colours, I am seeing lots of musky pinks, mustards and sage greens, and in tap wear, brushed brass fittings are definitely taking over matte black.

What colours are on trend?

Individuality is always on trend. Choose the colours that suit your lifestyle or make the colours you love come to play through beautiful plush towels and accessories!

What are your bathroom essentials?

Thick beautiful towels, fresh greenery in the form of plants and some staple aesthetic skincare and hand wash to sit on display.

What do you look for in a towel?

There is nothing better than stepping out of the shower or bath into a big fluffy towel. I always ensure the towels I buy are thick, absorbent, soft and of course stylish. This Sheridan range of Egyptian Luxury Towels in the colour graphite, tick all the boxes!

Any other styling tips:

I have recently purchased a bath caddy and it is a game changer! There is just something so indulgent about relaxing in the bath with a magazine and cup of tea (or glass of wine!). I also love lighting a few candles to set the scene. At the end of the day though, your bathroom is a sanctuary and should be styled in whatever way that makes you feel relaxed and happy!
